This new Nokia 8 Android flagship aims to bring something different to the mobile industry with the introduction on ‘bothies’.

The ‘bothie’ is a reinvention of the very popular ‘selfie’ that everyone can take on their normal front-facing camera but the Dual-Sight technology on the new Nokia 8 allows to use both the front and rear-facing cameras to take pictures or videos of themselves at the same time.

It even allows for video to be live-streamed to friends and to social feeds including Facebook and YouTube.

It is set to be released in September with an average retail price of €599 (£540) and is designed to compete with the likes of the iPhone 7 and Samsung’s Galaxy S8.

It features a polished aluminium body, Carl Zeiss cameras, spatial audio pulled from Nokia’s high-end 360-degree camera, a high-resolution 5.3-inch screen and looks great too.

After the surprising success of the retro-revamped Nokia 3310 earlier this year, Nokia hope that this new handset will have similar fate.
